Climate Justice Victoria is hosting an Earth Day +1 prostestival on, Sunday April 23rd 1 – 4:30 pm! (the day after Earth Day). Fernwood Community Centre, 1240 Gladstone Avenue.
We are bringing community together by celebrating the ways that arts and organizations are used to address living with the climate crisis, responding to it, and preventing further impacts through the efforts of climate and social justice. There will be a number of visual and perfoming artists featured throughout the afternoon. In addition, there will also be a few workshops held during the day and info tables for many of our favourite organizations. Artists and Performances:

Climate Café – 2 PM – 3 PMAs you may know, CJV is proud to now host a monthly climate café. These gatherings are open and safe spaces to explore guided and open-ended thoughts and feelings regarding climate change, eco anxiety, and other topics.
This event is hosted on the lands of the Lekwungen people, also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations. All organizers and participants look to the guidance and leadership of our local nations in our ongoing work for social and ecological decolonization.
